A wrong number here could mean a student thinks they met an offer when they did not. So every figure on this site comes from an official source, is re-checked every week, and any change is logged below with its date.
All figures last checked on 26 October 2026

Every week we open the current UCAS Tariff tables and the UCAS key dates page and compare them, value by value, with what this site shows: 120 grade values across the qualifications in the calculator, plus every Access to HE profile and every 2027 entry date. If anything differs, or if UCAS publishes the 2028 tables (expected in May 2027), the site is updated that week and the change goes in the log below.
Every calculation on the site, from the calculator total to the grade combinations on each points page, is covered by tests that must pass before an update goes live. The tests compare results with values from the UCAS tables, for example that DMM in a BTEC Extended Diploma is 112 and that all 45 Access to HE credits at Distinction are 144.
If you spot a figure that does not match the UCAS tables, email hello@ucaspoints.co.uk with the page and the value. We check it against the source, fix it if we got it wrong (usually within a day or two) and note the fix below. More on the contact page.
UCASPoints.co.uk is run by Avlas Digital, a small independent publisher of free calculators for students and families. It is not connected to UCAS, any university or any exam board. More on the about page.
